Love my Tablet

This is the second Samsung tablet I have gotten - Love them both but my 8 inch is awesome. It's quick and works awesome. I also have the 7 inch tablet and while it is slower than my 8 inch I use it when I read at night in bed. I love them both. I also have a Samsung S5 phone and it's is excellent also. Wouldn't trade any of them

Excellent Tablet

I bought the Galaxy Tab S after cracking the screen on my Kindle Fire HDX, which I wasn't unhappy to break. I considered the newer Tab 4, but was turned off by the screen size. The Tab S is perfect. Not too big (iPad), not too small (Kindle). Very light, very thin, easy to use and type on. While I like my wife's iPad, it just feels too restrictive. The Android OS has great features (I love the widgets I can put on my homescreen), and the layout and design overall feels intuitive and smooth. Some apps, like Crossy Road) lag at times, but none of the others I've installed have had the same issues. I suspect it has more to do with app design than the tablet itself. I have no complaints so far. This tablet is great.

I considered both the Tab S and Pro vs an iPad. The Tab S is a better value and performs as well as or better than my wife's iPad. The Remote PC app is a tool and enables me to work offsite without carrying my laptop.

This tablet is absolutely amazing! It performs great and has plenty power. The GPS works great for my Forest Service work and the apps perform great for school work.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, fast

I love the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" but...

I love the this tablet, however there is a couple of things I wish were different.
1. The speakers should have been on the other side. If you hold it in your hands, the speakers can be muffled somewhat.
2. I wish the power and volume buttons were on the right side (as you are holding it landscape).
3. I wish the 8.4" could come in a smaller size (with the same features) so that it could fit in my pocket.

This tablet is amazing just what I wanted. It has a good camera front and back, the fingerprint scanner is awesome nobody can get on to my tablet. Very fast system some more cool features would be amazing, and when it updated it ran faster and more functions.

I'm in love with my tablet!!! I just traded my iPad mini w/retina display for the Galaxy tab S, and I'm so glad I did. I love everything about this tablet.
