Love the Tablet

I have been a iPad user for a very long time. after some convincing I got this tablet. all I can say is it is great. Love it. It is taking some time getting used to it but i have watched some helpful videos and i want to take this everywhere with me. all I need is a good case...

Best tablet for the money

My Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a phenomenal tablet. The screen resolution and color to my eye is the best of any tablet this size. The android OS is more flexible offering far more customization than iPad. The micro SD expansion slot was a big plus for me with my book and music collection. Battery life is very good. Recommend this tablet.

Rock Star Small Tablet

This is my second Samsung tablet, the first being the Tab 8.0 Note. While the note was pretty solid, the battery life really disappointed me.
So I traded in that device for the Tab S 8.4. Couldn't be happier. Its got a great screen, is super thin, crazy light and comfortable to hold.
Great for reading books, watching videos, web surfing, social media activity, playing games. Really I haven't found any big faults with the device.
The battery life is way better on this device that it was on the Note 8.0.
I wish it had NFC capability and it doesn't read a USB attached device using an On The Go cable. In particular my Fujifilm camera.

I have been debating on whether or not to buy a tablet or a smaller laptop for a few months now and finally chose the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 based on its size, lightweight and great reviews. As I open the box I realized how light in weight it really is and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to put anything together in order for it to work. When I powered up the device it was quick to respond and the screen was bright and beautiful to say the least and describing it wouldn't do it justice. You just have to see it in person to appreciate how great this tablet looks. As I started to download certain apps that I knew I would want I noticed how quick the processing was and how clean the screens responded, not to mention how fast everything downloaded. As a Samsung customer for many years I have to say I wasn't surprised of how well this tablet works but I will say I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. I would advise to get a case of some sort because you almost feel like you're going to break it with your bare hands it feels so light and fragile although it feels very well made at the same time.

Cons: battery life not as advertised

This is a great device, as all samsung devices are. It is super thin, beautifully designed, great battery life, a stunning display and great speed. I haven't had a tablet in a year or so and this tablet just blew my expectations away. Samsung continues to kill it in the phone and tablet compilation.

I RECEIVED THIS TABLET HAS A BIRTHDAY GIFT FROM MY HUSBAND. I THINK IT'S AMAZING IT'S SUPER FAST AND THE SCREEN IS AMAZING. I HAVE THE 8.4 SCREEN AND IT'S PERFECT NOT TO BIG OR SMALL. I LOVE IT AND I THINK IT'S THE BEST TABLET AROUND.
