Poor quality construction and un-reliable

We have about 30 of these at work and they are absolute rubbish. The 4-5 year old Xeroxs we were using before are infinately more reliable. Print quality is ok, but no better than any of the competitors.
These things just break constantly, internal parts snap off, other parts melt and start smoking. Not good, how they made it though any kind of quality control is amazing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like my new printer, works well, nice color and easy to use. This is my second Xerox printer and I have loved them both. The print quality is perfect for the real estate fliers and ads I do regularly--my materials look so much better than most agents. The ink for the photos looks awesome and really gets people excited about the houses. Thank you for making an affordable high quality printer.

Every month I have to publish brochures, phamplets, monthly newsltters, reports using graphs, etc... and the ease of using this printer along with my software ensures that all my publications have that professional look. Several of my documents have to be submitted on the district level, and it was great when the director came to me and was very pleased with the quality of work that was presented. She actually used the words "outstanding", "quality" ... This is not just an ordinary printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great machine, but changing the toner can be a headache

I have had this printer for several years, and it has performed great. However, when I ordered the imaging kit with all four toner colors, the process to change one toner color was harder than it needed to be. The colors were not labeled, so I opened the wrong one before I by chance opened the right one. The instructions were pictures with no words. A small explanation here and there would have made the process much simpler. Not all of us change toner so often that we remember how to do it from one time to the next. Also, many of us are not visual learners and need more than a page full of confusing pictures. I am not a genius, but my IQ is not below normal. I do recommend the printer itself as it has been very reliable when I needed it for a lot of printing.

Our Christmas newsletter was gorgeous.
With sharp colourful pictures and was fast to print extra copies.
