No colour adjustment

This printer has no user colour adjustments so if you like prints with a magenta hue this is just the printer for you.
A full page image takes nearly four minutes to print from a USB connection,it's really a question of minutes per page not pages per minute.

I had this printer for five weeks and was so fed up of the poor colour output that cannot be adjusted that I gave it away.
The quality of the toner is excellent but having no colour adjustment makes this a moot point.
Xerox staff are helpful and the service is good,I would have liked to have kept the printer but was not at all happy with the colour output.

This is the 2nd Xerox Phaser that we own

We have had such great success with the first Xerox Phaser that we have, when it came time to add an additional printer we went back to a Xerox Phaser. We have been extremely pleased with the Xerox Phaser 6600. I would absolutely recommend the Xerox Phaser 6600!!

It is a little slow, but I think that is mostly because it "sleeps" when not used for awhile. I appreciate that it saves energy in that way. Prints are very clear and crisp. No problems with drivers; always prints whatever I send it.

Great printer for the money

This is quite a remarkable printer for low volume printing. It's very easy to set up and use and does a good job with printing colorful documents for my business. We often produce reports of 60-100 pages and need 20-30 copies printed that we then bind (we use 28-32# paper, plus heavy coverstock). Our documents look superb!
The printer is easy to load with paper and holds quite a bit. It starts up quickly and is pretty quiet when operating. The ink cartridges are very easy to change, and you should keep at least one of each color on hand so you don't have to interrupt jobs that are printing.
The downloadable owner's manual is very helpful and you should keep it handy... it has quickly cleared up any questions we've had with the product.
This is the second Phaser 6600 we've owned. The first's power supply failed shortly after running out of the warranty period. It was cheaper to replace the printer than get the part replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great color duplex printer at a reasonable cost...

The print quality, duplex capabilities, and speed are great for a small office. This is the third Phaser printer I've had over many years. The purchase cost has dropped dramatically as new models like this have been introduced. The only thing that hasn't become less costly is the consumables. But I'm not sure any other color duplex printer with comparable print quality and duplex capabilities offers consumables at a lower cost.

Easy to use & reliable

I use my printer to print outdoor signs- I work at a plant nursery, and the signs i print are outside in the sun. The Phaser does a great job & can handle the synthetic paper I use with out jamming.

To costly to maintain

The print quality is great but the printer cost so much to maintain! I cannot afford to continue using it. The toner is extremely expensive and does not last. I have gone through 2 full sets of color cartridges 4 of them being the high yield and have only printed 2,000 pages.
Additionally if you buy this product for cardstock use beware you can only use up to 30# paper on the duplex or else it will jam. 100# paper will go through but it will not duplex.
The memory that comes with it is not much and if you are printing any kind of graphic files that are large to it you will be waiting on it to spool for some time.
I am extremely disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
