I love the technology but I am worried about some intermittent behavior including spontaneous shut down, screeching, annoying click or pulse. one burner sometimes doesn't seem to shut off immediately when turning off. Annoying beeps when items placed on the stove. I hate the slide control. pain in the neck to find just the right spot sometimes. this touch control is just frustrating and takes too much time.
Pros: pot stops boiling immediately - awesome, High Powered Burners, Heats Up Quickly, love the 5 burner, love the beveled edge, technology is great, Large Surface Area
Cons: Difficult To Clean, way to much beeping like when i place an object, frustrating controls, strange functioning intermittently, much harder to look nice than other glass tops, seems to scratch easily, occasionally terrible screech or noise

Huge change from our old cooktop

My husband do most of the cooking and loves this cooktop. It heats food fast and evenly. It was a huge step up from our 12 year old cooktop.

I’ve had this cooktop now for 10 months. I love it for several reasons. First I was very confused and I needed to learn my appliance better and after a demonstration and studying the owners manual I have been able to have a great grasp of it. If I have a party and I need it to be shut down because I need to place things on the cooktop, I can lock it “off”. When I am cooking with it it’s really wonderful when you have two or three things going on with a different amount of time needed for each item. Each burner has its own timer! Awesome! When I use to cook recipes and they would tell me how long to cook something it was never accurate but now
it is. And it cleans marvelously! I️ used to have a gas stove and even after spending an hour cleaning it it never looked very good but now I spend 30 seconds wiping it off And it looks just like new. I have also tried to simplify my kitchen so that I don’t have so much “stuff“. I really liked it that there is no reason to need a exhaust fan with my stove. My stove is in the island and I don’t have to look around a exhaust area when talking to my guest. The other thing that makes this cooktop awesome is that it is so thin. Underneath my cooktop I have a huge drawer that I can put all of my cookware in and the cooktop does not extend into the drawer at all

Outstanding Cooktop

My first, and only, induction cooktop. Would never go back to any other type. The Jenn-Air looks great too, and is super easy to clean. The entire cooktop can be cleaned in seconds. The low settings are very low, which is great. Induction take a little to get used to, but once you do, you're hooked. It includes a timer, but would've been nice to be able to switch the unit off when the timer expires, but it's just an alarm basically.

We have had our new JennAir induction cooktop for six weeks and we really love it. It is easy to use and prepares food promptly. My eggs have never turned out so fluffy before!
