We upgraded from an older electric cooktop. I have cooked with gas all my life and needed a cooktop that is similar to gas. This cooktop is amazing. It heats so quickly that I really have to watch what I'm doing. I was able to use cast iron and sear steaks in no time at all. Very responsive controls to increase/decrease heat. So far, I'm liking this better than a gas cooktop. Word of advice-run a dedicated 50 amp line and breaker as this requires power.

Recently finished our kitchen remodel and after a lot of research I settled on the 36 Jenn-Air induction cook-top. I was most excited about getting an induction cook-top and this has not let me down. Heats up fast, is the perfect size for my kitchen and most of all - clean up is a breeze, especially compared to the stainless steel gas cook-top I replaced it with.
