Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Jenn-Air Induction Cooktop. The first one lasted 12 years before having any troubles. Update to the newest with bridging capabilities, love that feature for use when using a griddle.

Power control is difficult to adjust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second induction cooktop. It was installed in February, 2022. I have owned and used induction cooktops at home for the past 15 years. I find the power control is very difficult to adjust. It takes several tries to get it to the correct temperature setting. On a minor note, it had a small scratch on the ceramic top.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love cooking on this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This cooktop looks great, is super fast and responsive when cooking, easy to clean, and safer around kids. I love to cook on it and have started cooking a lot more often since we got it.
Cons: Uses 1.7amps of electricity even when not using. If you pick up pan to flip food around the element will start beeping and takes a few seconds to recognise pan and resume cooking when you set it back down. Sometimes accidentially bump the touchpad and turn it off or something while cooking. I wish the timers would turn off the burner when they reach 0 instead of just beeping.

Easy to clean and adjust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Jenn-Air propane cooktop, that was also wonderful, but had heavy iron grates to move in order to clean up after every meal. This is so easy to clean! It fit in the same hole, and now our home is all electric with a solar array to power us. This is the future and it’s a fabulous improvement! The controls are easy to use too. This is not your mom’s electric stove…it’s easily as responsive as gas and when it’s off, it doesn’t stay hot. One thing we wish it had is a timer for the burners. Also, when the cat cruises around at night she steps on the power button, causing a beep, so we have to cover it with a potholder!
