I love my induction stovetop! My stovetop stays cleans, my food cooks faster & I can truly simmer. It very responsive from 1-9. I never have to worry about burning a dish towel or paper towel because only the pan gets hot. Love it!

The middle of the line

JennAir does not offer features across their entire line of refrigerators. I had to settle for this model. I wanted ice/water in the door. The JFFCC72 (highest price) had cheap plastic ice/water dispenser and shelves that did not adjust. The best feature one is JFX2897 only comes in full size. If I didn't want all pieces to match I would not have bought it.

Cooks amazingly well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like cooking on this induction stovetop. The food responds instantly to temperature changes — I can go from boil to simmer in an instant. It’s easy to keep clean and there’s no more baked on food to scrape off. The one downside is the controls aren’t entirely intuitive. I think I need to spend more time with the manual. Also, it beeps at me if I rest anything —a pan lid, a spoon— on it. We are having to relearn old habits and find new resting places for implements.

Cons: Hard To Use

Controls impossible to see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I and my wife (seniors) have trouble reading the very small print on the controls. Help me understand why, with abundant space available, 8 point fonts are used on the controls. Impossible to read! If I had examined this cooktop more closely, I would NOT have purchased it!
