Couldn't have been more disappointed that the cooktop did not come with the adhesive required to install on a granite countertop. When I spend this much money on a stovetop, I don't expect to get nickel and dimed on installation accessories. This is a good product, but I was pretty unhappy with Jenn Air for this.
Pros: High Powered Burners, Heats Up Quickly, Precise Controls
One of the more attractive induction cook tops. The surface is primarily black with thin white outlines for the four burners. Many of the others we looked at had a mottled finish and/or "in your face" outlines of the burners. We wanted ours to disappear since it's in a large island which can be seen from both the living and dining rooms. The controls take a little getting used to but become easier with each use. Cleaning is a snap, of course, since an induction cook top.
Pros: High Powered Burners, Heats Up Quickly, Easy To Clean
Water boils so fast on this induction stove that I have to change the way I cook ... for the better! Because the surface isn't as hot as our previous electric cooktop, boil-over doesn't get cooked onto the surface. So cleaning is a breeze! But boil-over is less common now because I can reduce the temperature instantly. And when I'm done cooking, I can leave the pot/pan on the burner without worrying as much about the food continuing to cook. Even better, I'm less concerned about my child burning her hand on the stove whether it is on or off. Unfortunately we already have a corner chipped off the stovetop since it is made of glass.
