The phone was great before the alterations now its AMAZING!

The One X+ is truly an amazing phone. This phone was designed for those who like to capture moments be it with video or with pictures, and share them with the world. The phone has a beautiful display, that just draws you into it. And with the better battery you are able to immerse yourself into a would of new cutting edge technology. I wish i could do a YouTube review to show you have great the phone really is. If only AT&T would agree to that i could show you how the phone should be used, by using the phone i could create a short in depth video for you.
Pros: quick text
Cons: multitasking

Speed, Screen, and Style

Speed, screen, and style. This phone has all three and then some. The quad core processor is so fast I don't think any app can fully utilize it. I'll probably under clock it to save battery.
I'm a photographer, the screen is the most important feature on a display device. This gorgeous screen puts my old iPhone 4 to shame. I literately said WOW out loud when the AT&T rep had me the phone. The Gallexy S III and Gallexy Nexus both have an odd blue tint to it. Must be a super AMOLED thing. My photos from a DSLR has never look better on a phone. Besides better screen, AndroidOS imports full size photos, whereas iOS only imports a compressed version.
The material HTC used for the back of this phone has a soft leathery feel to it. It's so nice in hand much better than the cold and hard glass back of the iPhone and the cheap and plastic back of the Gallexy S III. I don't see any need for an ugly case for the X+.
The battery life isn't great, it barely last a whole day without recharging. But it's most because I've only had this phone for a week and have been playing with it constantly. And I mean constantly. It also doesn't help that I have unlimited data to play with, like checking AT&T's LTE network speed for my amusement. It's super fast.
The 64 GB internal storage makes the lack of sd card more manageable.
Overall, a great phone. Couldn't be happier.
Pros: screen, speed, style, storage, customazation
Cons: battery life, no sd slot

Very happy iPhone switcher

Recently decided to switch to Android after having an iPhone for years. After much searching, I wanted to get an HTC. More mental debate and decided on the One X+ and I couldn't be happier. This phone blows my iPhone 4S out of the water. It's faster, has more features, a bigger screen, a more vibrant display (in my opinion), and the biggest thing for me.....a better battery. After updating my iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I usually had 5% battery by 11-12pm. With the HTC One X+, I have 20-30% by 1-2am. Very nice.
I do not live in a 4G LTE area, but my data speeds are much faster on my new phone. And some of the same apps I had on my iPhone load almost 50% faster on the One X+.
My biggest worry was switching from iOS to Android. Well, I worried over nothing. The switch was very easy to make. And I am actually finding that many things are actually easier to do.
My only complaint is probably that the camera doesn't focus very fast. But once it does, it takes the picture super fast. And the pictures look better than those I took on my iPhone 4S. And.....I can actually use the flash on it! Was never able to use the flash on any of my iPhones because the pictures always had a strange greenish color to them. Not with my One X+.
Bottom line, I absolutely love this phone. It looks great and runs great. Can't stop talking about it. All my friends are starting to say that I'm in love with my phone.....
Pros: speed, battery, screen size/quality, easy to use
Cons: slow camera focus

Great Phone - Read Review
on November 29, 2012

I have had the phone now for 2 weeks and overall the phone is excellent.
The biggest Tip I can give is make sure that you charge the phone initially for at least 7 hours before first use, even if the charge light shows green. I followed this advice from another website and I am at 11.5 hours of use and still have 60% battery left.
Also I do not use any social networking so those apps all got disabled, so no juice wasted there.
Only 2 issues with the phone.
1. Bluetooth for phone conversations has a lot of static and echo. It is terrible,so I called HTC and they said are aware and will be fixed with update.
2. When on WIFI and the screen is off the phone does not notify you of new messages. Apparently this was an issue with the original One X and was fixed, so I should be with X+
Phone is FAST, but playing games will kill the battery fast (as with any smartphone) and with prolonged gaming the phone will get hot around the camera lens.
Overall best phone I have owned yet.
Pros: fast processor, build quality, screen
Cons: bluetooth until they fix it

htc's Crown Jewel

htc has crafted a beautiful phone with the One X+. The design, sense ui, the generous storage capacity, and phenomenal camera all wrapped up in a gorgeous body. For all of you iPhone lovers out there, consider this phone if you are looking for a change. For the same price as you would pay for the iPhone 5, you get quadruple the storage, equal camera, NVDIA's blazing 1.7GHz quad core processor, and Beats Audio to crank out some good tunes. The 4.7" screen is fairly easy to hold and operate and the curved back helps it to fit comfortably in your hand. I have used the GSIII, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, Nokia Lumia 920, and Droid RAZR Maxx. The htc One X+ easily beats the competition, hands down! It is the best phone I have ever used.
Pros: hd screen, storage, great battery life, beats audio, quad core, 1080p hd video rec, sense ui, android 4.1.1 out of box., camera
Cons: none!

GOODBYE IPHONE 5!!
on December 25, 2012

I have tried every android there is and always go back to my iPhone... not this time. After a few days of use, my only complaint was the battery, it was running out halfway through the day. I LOVE texting on it (swift key 3), talking on it (very comfortable in hand), and surfing the web on it. The battery has gotten better 1 in. It is lasting all day now, even with surfing, texting, and calls. I LOVE the larger screen, so even if the battery is a little worse it is worth it.
Pros: screen size, texting
Cons: battery

Don't even waste your time with the Samsung Galaxy SIII. This phone is a lot better and more user friendly.

This phone is hands down the best phone on AT&T's line up. Before I got his one I got the Galaxy SIII, because all you hear from people is its the greatest. Don't get the HTC one x+. So I got it under pressure. Well my past two phone were HTC, and I loved both of them and then I got the SIII. HTC is much simpler to use. The features are a lot better. On top of that, there are thing on HTC that are a lot better, texting is much simpler and the keyboard plus spell check is a lot better on the one x+. Internet surfing is better too because it doesn't dim when you go on the internet browser. Also music on the HTC is the best I've ever listened to on a phone. Widget are also a lot better. All and all the HTC one x+ is far superior to the Galaxy SIII. Battery life is pretty decent too. HTC has done it again with this one. So glad I returned the Galaxy SIII to get this instead.
Pros: texting, display, battery, camera, non plasticy feeling, everything about this phone

upgraded from iphone 3Gs... a whole new world
on November 26, 2012

Initially I was nervous about jumping off the iPhone train, but after getting the HTC one x+, I'm so happy I did. I had plenty of friends that had the iPhone 4s or were upgrading to the 5, but to be honest I was just getting bored with Apple's interface, as they haven't really changed anything. So with my upgrade (finally) I had the choice to join the smartphone world and see what they had to offer. It took a minute to get used to Google apps and Google play instead of using itunes and the app store, but nothing too difficult. And I must say, over the galaxy s3, I'm glad I went with one x+... It is so customizable that I gladly fiddled with it for a few hours! It didn't take too long to get used to the interface, the swiping has probably been the hardest thing for me, but I'm still very glad I switched. I actually prefer learning new features rather than having the same old thing. So, farewell iPhone, you were good to me the first half of our time together, but it seems there is better competition out there at the moment.
Pros: lcd screen, fast lte speeds, customizable interface, better battery life, huge amount of internal memory, easy transition from iphone, quality build and design
Cons: swipe texting
