Great HTC phone 64gb memory large screen

purchased this phone after I purchased htc one x for my son.
The large display was a great improvement over the Iphone 4.
After having issues with my Iphone I switched to an andriod, and fell in love. However, after a few months of having the phone it starts showing no sim card however sim card is in place. And this also happened with the HTC One x phone as well. Also, can not send a video text message with this phone a feature that was great in the Iphone, especially when your spouse is in a different state.
Pros: 64gb memory, large display screen, great beats audio, lightweight even with case on, can use phone as a hotspot
Cons: can't send a video text message, started showing missing sim card after 3 months, ring volume is not loud

I love this phone BUT...

I do love this phone, it has great features and the screen is big enough and beats my Iphone. I like how light it is and the camera takes great pics!
The one issue that I am having over and over again is that I am constantly restarting the phone. It seems to lock up and displays Emergency Calls Only and NO SIM card. This is very inconvenient when I need to be available for my family and if I don't notice it...it could be an hour or more that I don't get texts or phone calls.

Great phone. Wonderful looks, nice display. It was the best phone when it first came out, but it went fairly unnoticed.

Great phone. Still provides all the best features. I have used many phones before, and HTC never skimps on the quality.

Nice features, poor battery life

Like the phone's features such as Beats Audio, large screen, HD video and camera.
Phone is less than a year old and the battery does not go more than 5-6 hours (with 2-3 hours of use) between charges. I've set the brightness and timeout to the minimum settings and close all un-needed apps, but I never can get too far away from a charger which defeats the purpose of a "mobile" device.
Pros: screen size, hd camera, beats audio
Cons: battery life, intermittent o/s issues, icons disappear
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently had got this phone for my upgrade. I had an S II and at times I kinda wanted to throw it, maybe I did sometimes. I loved because of all the support it was receiving and realized I wanted to try and HTC phone. I picked up this phone yesterday and all I have to say is that it is gorgeous. The screen is amazing! Also 64gb of internal storage is just great for me, I don't care about a micro sd slot. I mean the iPhone 5 64gb version is $200 more! The phone is fast and very responsive. The first day I had it the battery life was okay but after a couple of charges it is FANTASTIC! The phone doesn't come with headphones but I have my Philips headphones which is great to listen with the Beats audio feature. Jelly bean makes this phone buttery smooth and no lag.The camera is great to take pictures but the video is okay, really recommend it if you like to take pictures but the Lumia 920 beats it in that category. If I had a second choice I would go with the Nokia if anyone doesn't like android.
Pros: battery, speed, memory, games, camera, browser, jelly bean

The best phone I've ever had.

I've been using cell phones since the early '90's and I've used a wide range of phones. From candybar to flip phones, sliding out keyboard and touch screen, Motorola, Nikia, HTC, Apple iPhone (every model except iPhone 5). I've got an old box with a bunch of phones that I just can't seem to get rid of. That being said, I would recommend this phone for anyone. The display is so crisp and clear sometimes I'm still amazed. The ease of use and quality of the phone are also amazing. The comfort in my hand ranging from a simple phone call to late night browsing before I doze off is a true selling point. But the main reason I love this phone is the ability to impress me no matter what I want to do with it. The audio is the best I've ever had. The combination of Beats and a good pair of headphones is almost dreamy. If HTC actually comes out with an upgrade to this one I just can't think of what they would improve on it. This is the phone I've been searching for ever since I saw the gang on the old Star Trek tv series use their communicators. Man may have walked on the moon but this phone may be even more exciting than that. I love this phone.

Another excellent phone from HTC.

I have used quite a few iOS and android devices over the years designed by various companies but by far HTC is my favorite. HTC combines the entire ecosystem into one package, form factor, hardware and software. My last phone was a Samsung galaxy S3, don't get me wrong but his is an excellent phone too but after using both phones I felt that the HTC was a bit superior to the GS3. GS3 focuses quite a bit on social and sharing software, something that currently another company is focused on. Granted the built in functions are very handy and useful but Samsung did not take the time make it easy for folks to use. The interface is not intuitive and lacks that user friendly feel. HTC's sense UI in my experience is a bit more user friendly and easier for any new Android User to figure out. If you were switching from iOS to Android I would highly recommend the One X+. Another issue that folks tend focus on is battery life and I can tell you now that this will remain an issue unless someone invents a new form of battery technology. I can personally tell you that Samsung GS3, Motorola Razr phones and iOS devices have similar battery challenges. Average users will find that they will have to charge their phones by the end of each day and that's from personal experiences.
Pros: fast processor, sense ui interface, very user friendly ecosystem, large internal storage, excellent screen - slcd2, form factor design, easy to learn for any new android user, excellent camera
