All good except the ice maker. Fridge is 2 months old and we've had the tech out twice so far to try and fix it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Rolls Royce of Appliances

I thought my LG washer and dryer were Cadillac's, but the 33 cu. ft french door refrigerator is by far the best I've ever purchased, the stainless exterior is sleek and easy to maintain, while it offers a spacious interior in which to organize everything. The ice maker is wonderful in that you can select the size of the cube and the freezer gives me more space than I could have imagined. Controls offer you selections like no other I've ever had. LG's engineers and designers really hit the top of the scale with this baby.
Pros: Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best refrigerator I have ever owned
on December 30, 2014

Before I purchased this model I owned a 27 cubic foot LG French door refrigerator. It was good, but this model is substantially better.
I am particularly impressed by the changes made in the ice maker. The 27 cu. ft. model had crescent shaped cubes that tended to get caught in the chute. This model has smaller, more uniform cubes that don't jam the chute.
The freezer is outstanding. Because of the drawers within the freezer, it is very easy to locate whatever you want to find.
The only change in this model that does not seem to be an improvement over the 27 cu. ft. model is the water filter. The addition of a drop down door for the filter seems unnecessary and prone to breakage. The air filter is also somewhat of a joke. A box of baking soda works better.
One feature of the 27 cu. ft. model that might be better than the 32 cu.ft. model is the display. I liked knowing how many months of filter use were left, and also liked the fact that the display was on all of the time not just when the user opened the door.
Despite these little nags, the refrigerator is outstanding, and LG will continue to be my appliance of choice.

Poor Service Network, Expensive to Own

LG lists 3 repair outfits for my zip but only 1 will service my area. They want to sell the unit but, there is not much interest in servicing them. Have owned the unit for 5.25 years and it went kaput over a month ago due to design deficiency. It seems the components are incompatible with the gas used and the refrigerant tubing is corroding internally. We are still without a working refrigerator for over 1 month. 1000's of these defective units out there. At this rate, the cost of the unit coupled with the cost of repair, is averaging about $725/year to own this unit. This product does not meet the definition of a durable good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
