Lots of room and great freezer

I have had this refrigerator for about 2 months. I love the 3 drawer feature on the freezer. This is very easy to access and organize. The large lower drawer in the refrigerator is great. Again easy access and easy to see things. I especially like the compact ice maker. The only issue I have had is the ice maker occasionally clogs.
The space in the refrigerator part is wonderful - I can have large items in there with no problem. The only drawback I have found is the icemaker cubes sometimes gets blocked. I have to go in and disperse the clogs by hand. It is a good thing I am tall ae the items in the back aren't the easiest to reach, but other than that I love the way the refrigerator is laid ot in shelves and drawers. The freezer is fantastic - I can put so much more in and be able to find it easily.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first refrigerator I have owned that holds everything I need at my fingertips. It has a large capacity freezer; provides an abundance of ice; and has all of the features you could possibly need. My only complaint is that it does not have a storage area for my eggs. Even my son loves it as the water coming out of the door is actually cold.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

We are disappointed that after 11months the fan needs servicing. What's up with that. This unit does so much, but a fan should not fail so soon.
Pros: Style/Design

Clunking Sounds, and Not Cooling
on October 21, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to share my experience with the LFX33975, because it may help others who have experienced the same problem.
Have owned the french double door bottom freezer LG for 3 years now. It has worked great, except on two occasions. Each of those times, it suddenly quit cooling and began making clunking sounds. Lost a bunch of food the first time, threw the defrosted food out, and then the LG began working again. Weird.
The second time, a full year later, the clunking sound came again, and the cooling was subpar, just like the first time. So I tried a few things. Unplugged the LG, thereby resetting the control board. Nope, that didn't do a thing. Still clunking, still minimal cooling - the temp in the freezer rose to around 25 degrees, and the rest of the fridge was about 47 degress, even though the front panel was set for 0 degrees and 37 degrees, respectively.
So I tried juggling food around. Took some items out of the nearly-full tray at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment, the one that goes all the way across the unit. Put those items in the 3 pull-out bins just above that tray instead.
Eureka!
About 45 minutes later, the clunking sound stopped and the unit began cooling properly once again! Within 2 hours the freezer was back down to 0 degrees and the refrigerator was back down to 37 degrees.
Looking at the inside back wall, just in back of that full-width tray, I think I see now what was going on. Back there is where the cooled air for the refrigerator compartment comes out. Except it can't, if you have that tray loaded with too much food. So then the evaporator ices over, which then causes the cooling to become subpar. Once I cleared a bit of the food out of that tray, the air started flowing again, the clunking stopped, the cooling went back to normal, and the ice on the evaporator melted (I saw brown water which drained out onto the surface just under the full-width tray) and things were fine once again.
Moral of the story? Don't give up on your LG immediately if the cooling suddenly quits. You may just need to unload the full-width tray a bit, and also make sure the air slots down in the freezer compartment aren't completely covered over either.
Hope this helps some of my fellow LG french door bottom freezer owners!
Pros: easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!
