[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the fridge for over 7 years. It recently needed a new compressor. The part was still covered but not labor. I think the part should not have failed so soon, but was glad the LG covered the part cost of repair. My biggest complaint is the water dispenser. It splashes everywhere and because of the location people always make a mess by putting cup where ice comes out and pushing water button. Also, labels on dispenser wore off quickly.

Uncomfortable with the responses and problems continuing to exist, I called an independent . We had booked him but the problem noise stopped. so he did not come. Then the Icemaker stopped making ice. we left it alone for a few days and it is once again making Ice. Bottom line we need a qualified LG appliance service tech to look at the unit.
