Not Missing My Old Whirlpool As I Thought I Would!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Whirlpool fridge, a 20+ year old side by side, was a great appliance that just wouldn't quit and made ice that supplied all our needs even when we had guests and parties. I was reluctant to give it up for a new model because so many of our friends and family complained that their state of the art new fridge (various brands) just wouldn't supply enough ice and required maintenance on the door sealing gaskets, etc, after only short term use. I kept researching and looking at new models, however, because our old one really was beginning to look dated and was showing some wear. I was fairly certain I wanted another Whitlpool, and when I saw this gorgeous 5 door model in the store I knew it was the one - dual ice makers - yes! We bought it along eith the five year warranty, and have had it for about a month. It is a dream machine - has everything, makes more ice than we'll ever use, and is a pleasure to use. Note: The new fridges require 20 psi yo the ice maker and our whole house water filtration ststem only priduced 7 psi so we added a small pump to the line to insure the teo ice makers worked optimally. I also remived one of the shelves because I needed more tall space. Not a problem. This truly is "the Mercedes Benz" of refrigerators. Don't miss my old one at all!

So much fun

I bought this last month as part of HH Gregg closeout and have been very happy with the size, performance and options. I love the auto fill water, set the ounces and walk away as it fills. Silly, but I hate waiting for it to fill...LED lights are great, the extra sliding door compartments are great and the freezer with extra ice maker perfect for parties. Quiet and cold, the options are phenomenal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Daughter bought this model Whirlpool Refrigerator several months ago and my Husband fell in love with the dual ice maker! So, when the ice maker on our 4-year-old fridge went out for the 4th time we decided to replace the refrigerator. And, of course, my Husband went straight for the dual ice maker model. I really like the two storage drawers and the fact that you can change the temp/purpose of one. We use it for our deli meats and cheeses right now and it's great not having to open the big doors to grab stuff for a sandwich. We are able to arrange the shelves in the main compartment to exactly fit our needs. The freezer compartments are great too! We buy frozen pizza quite often so it's nice to have a place designed to hold those boxes. We have our frozen foods divided into meats and vegetables and it's great. Now we can find something without having to empty everything from the drawer. It's great!

Best refrigerator I've ever purchased!!!

I purchased this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago and I am extremely happy with all the features. My 88 year old mother can easily reach for her items without our help and since the lower drawers close completely, she won't leave them open. I personally like having the 2nd ice maker and the controls are easy to adjust to my personal preferences.
