Beautiful appliance

I love almost everything about this fridge. There are 2 things I dislike. The water is only barely cool...not cold.The right side French door is higher than the left by about 1/4" or a little less. The unevenness of the doors is driving me crazy. I complained about it when the installers were here and they informed me they were supposed to be that way and they cannot be leveled. I'm like WHAT? For the price of this refrigerator, those doors should be level with each other. Don't you agree?

Excellent Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a side by side, and I wanted to go back to a bottom freezer. After LOTS of research, and comparing brands, taking into account the close proximity of repair/parts facilities, if needed, we selected this refrigerator. Some reviewers complain about water dripping from the water/ice dispenser, what frig doesn't do that? Don't pull your glass away too fast. We have had no problems! The BEST part is that the side by side was 26 cu ft, same as this unit, BUT the space is so much more organized, and we can fit MORE goods in, if needed. You can actually see, and find things. Love the doors shelves, so easy to organize all the condiments. The produce drawer is great for those quick grab items (apples, carrots, cucumbers, etc). The adjustable temp drawer, is the best for the cheeses, and meat, no opening the entire frig to dig through a drawer. Freezer - so easy to organize here too. The 2nd ice maker works great! Three adults in the home, and we have yet to run out of ice, even after hosting brunch with four additional people, and there were lots of drinks with ice.Have read reviews that the unit is loud. We do not find that it is any louder or quieter than other refrigerators we have owned, or friends own. Depending on the acoustics of your home (open concept), you could hear the ice dispensing into the bin.We are extremely happy with the purchase, and all of our neighbors and friends have given it a thorough 'once over', and can't believe how much room there is, and how great it looks.Good job Whirlpool!

Bought about 1 month ago & lights went out in unit. Repairmen said the company would not send the L.E.D. board we are still waiting. Not a happy customer

So much room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this refrigerator for over 2 months and we love it! After having side-by-sides for over 20 years, I can't believe how much more can fit in this style of refrigerator and it is only .5 cu ft larger than my old one. Lots of space for produce including one of the extra exterior drawers which is the perfect place to keep longer items like celery and romaine lettuce. And, the other drawer offers a defrost option which I had previously and can't live without. And I can now actually find things in my freezer. Love the double ice maker, too, although we weren't looking for that, but it's a great feature. Negative points: I am not crazy about the battle gray sides, black is much nicer, but all brands are going to this ugly gray color and the stainless steel is more prone to fingerprints than my previous model. And, with 5 handles, there are more places to keep clean. Although the shelves on the door are very deep, they cannot be very tall with this design, so you've got to give some serious thought as to where you might store an open bottle of wine. However, I would highly recommend this design and model!

We were provided this upgraded fridge as a replacement to another Whirlpool refridgerator we had that was deemed unrepairable. This new model was delivered to us on 10/30/15 and we had to call for service on 11/9/15 due to water leaking out of the middle drawer into the freezer and onto the floor. Very, very disappointed in the quality of the first fridge which was purchased in April 2015 and now this 2nd refrigerator appears to be headed down the same road.

It looks great. It works fine. It is not a quiet refrigerator. The noise seems constant and it is noticeable. Otherwise, I like it.
