Technician Repair of ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Technician was helpful, curious, and very professional. Unfortunately he could not fix the problem. I had two techs try to work on the problem but machine does not make ice in the upper Ics Bin. Never could get it to work and have to move ice from the botton bin to the upper bin by hand. Can you replace the upper Ice maker?

Terrible purchase

I have had nothing but problems since I purchased this overpriced piece of junk in 2016. I've had to take off work numerous times to meet a repairman at the house to make repairs which runs up my overall cost of this refrigerator. Do not buy Whirlpool or one their other brands. I learned my expensive lesson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

a wonderful refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought this refrig with the thought that its a name brand so it should last. well, its been 3 years and the compressor went out in the refrig. the freezer is working like a charm. (the repairman was out to diagnose the problem). now all we need is the repairman that does the compressor replacing to call us to do his thing. bu other than that, i works wonderfully and i love all the compartments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great fridge, except for in-door ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how spacious the top portion is once a shelf was removed. The separate produce and deli/meat drawer is a nice feature to avoid opening the main doors too often. Fridge has dual ice-makers but in-door unit does not work and have tried many times to re-activate it without success.. Adjustable shelf on the right-side had to be removed in order to put more than 3 taller items in the fridge such as milk or juice cartons or wine bottles, etc.. Lots of space after removing shelf. Would like to have 'alarm' to warn when doors are left open.

Ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker worked fine for about 4 1/2 years. Now it freezes up easily and stops making ice. At times it will work for a week then stops for several weeks and then starts up again. Very frustrating. Of course it is out of warranty and can't be renewed. Previous frig for over 10 years was a Frigidaire and it made more ice than you could use. That will be my next buy.

Beautiful Disaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love/Hate this fridge. I love the features of the separate drawers. Adjustable shelving is a plus. Virtually silent ice machine. I hate I have replaced nearly every electronic board on this unit since purchased it. It did the "lights go out and water dispenser freezes" thing. It has done the only "some interior lighting doesn't work" thing. A puddle of water wanders the floor every couple of days which is a good reminder to wash the floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!
