A huge refrigerator with lots of space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has more space than my previous one. The extra drawers provide a great space for produce and/or beverages. The added ice drop drawer means we won’t EVER run out of ice. The measured water dispenser is an added plus!

Save your money

If I could give it no stars I would. This fridge is being replaced after only 2.5 years. Right after the warranty period ended it started sounding like a jet plane. Randomly. Then we would notice water all over the floor in front. It also would raise the fridge temp and not cool past 43 degrees when this was happening. I would have condensation for all around the refrigerator on the inside. Ice was melting, items in the freezer would partially thaw. Come to find out, there is a "built in pan" to catch defrost water. IN THE FREEZER. Under the drawer. The drawer is not easily removable so access is limited, you can't even clean up the water. So after several defrost cycles the water built up and FROZE into a sheet of ice filling the pan. All future defrost cycles would cause water to run right off the ice onto the floor. The freezer door doesn't seem to seal correctly either and there is no adjustment. The repair guy came out twice and said it would be more expensive to fix than replace, and that whirlpool knows about the issue. Everyone who gets a "lemon" pretty much has the same exact issues. Pretty crazy for a 3500 refrigerator. I have wasted time, money and food, but can't wait for this thing to be carted away today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
