Great features and very user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this unit for several months and are really enjoying its use. The dual icemakers are great for a party or company. The temperature controlled drawer is very useful for different food groups.

Double Ice Maker - YES!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a family that hunts, fishes and entertains thus double ice maker is awesome. We also have a commercial one but this is perfect to keep up for inside the house. Would like the doors to shut easier but the alarm helps when we forget. Lots of space and room for all our food in the fridge/freezer - door shelves hold plenty. Enjoying the independant drawers with temputure settings for drinks/food and keeps my teenager from opening the main fridge too much! We haven’t yet been able to enjoy all the features like vacation mode or measured pour yet. Confident this will our favorite fridge ever!

Great fridege

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very roomy I like the little drawers for kids snacks the deli drawer is handy for our cold cuts and cheese. Little drawer is great for pop storage. Dual ice is nice for all the family gatherings over the holidays!

Major disappointment

Do not buy this refrigerator. After 1 year this model breaks-trust the negative reviews on all sites both endorsed by Whirlpool and those on appliance websites. We have spent 9 months trying to get it fixed with an extended warranty. It will not cool and stays around 55. Hundreds of dollars of lost produce and food. It leaks water inside. With a family of 5 it has been awful. I finally found someone to explain that Whirlpool is putting out products that are labeled Energy Efficient rated but the model cannot support the proper functioning. If you look around the web it is a common problem with this model and many models. So much for trying to buy and support American made products. Also beware of reading warranty fine print. I will have to call to get it fixed, get someone from the warranty approved repair company, wait to see it's not fixed, then start the process again. It is not covered by the lemon law because of a major loop hole and the way they work the warranty.... Again, trust this review and do not buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flexible Configuration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in the last couple of weeks to replace Frigidaire Pro that had some design flaws and lot of service calls.
We wish this Whirlpool for the price would have an option to display the actual temperatures in the various compartments. Since you can set the temperature, it would seem easy to be able to display the actual temperature.
The stainless steel facade is nice but it really shows smudges from fingers and hands very easily.
Bottom ice maker has a huge capacity. Will be nice for guests.
Like all the various compartments and the flexible way you can use them - both shelves and drawers.
So far so good. With bad experiences in the past we opted for a 5 year extended warranty. Hopefully this unit will last.
We wish this Whirlpool for the price would have an option to display the actual temperatures in the various compartments. Since you can set the temperature, it would seem easy to be able to display the actual temperature.

Overall good unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit in September and overall i am happy with the performance. I have experienced a leak problem in which the ice maker in the lower freezer is leaking into the drawer pan. I called and Whirlpool sent out a service tech who replaced the valves on the first visit and the icemaker on the second visit. Time will tell if this resolves the issue. Again, overall I am happy with thr unit.
