I thought I ruined my original stockpot with burnt apples. After scrubbing on/off for several days - I just ordered a new one out of frustration. Then my husband took over. With his extra muscle we managed to clean the burnt pot in less than 2 days and it now looks brand new. I was pleasantly surprised and now I have two pots for making stock, soups/chili and canning this year. For me it was a win/win and I'm definitely glad I didn't just throw it out. This stockpot is well worth the money

The pot looks great when it arrives all shiny and new. The problem is that when you cook with it it gets these discoloration marks in the bottom of the pot. Not sure what is causing it. They are permanent marks that you can not scrub away.
