I was looking for a 6 quart stock pot to fill a missing gap in my cookware. I own the Cuisinart 12 piece MultiClad Pro Triple Ply cookware set. I was skeptical as to how this stockpot compares to the triple ply construction. After using it a few times, I found that heat distribution was good and it was a good stockpot even though it's construction was different. The only complaint is that the handles can get hot even though the claim is that they stay cool. I will add that most of my use of this pot is for making pasta and I haven't done a lot of sauces or other things that may cause me to change my opinion.

I love them. I bought 3 different sizes - 6 qt, 8qt and 12 qt with the strainer and steamer basket. These pans are so easy to cool with and clean up. I love the strainer basket. Nice for pastas and keeping them warm when you eat in shifts. The pans were a little expensive, but well worth it the cost. The pans are a nice gauge thickness. The heat evenly and cook perfectly. I have some thinner gauge stainless pans, they are ok, but the Cuisinart are soooo much better!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The bottom of the stockpot has pitting after using it about 4 times.
