Replaced my large enamel pot for cooking corn on the cob this fall with this 8 quart stock pot. May also try using it for cooking stew this winter. Water heats up quickly & it washes up well - I’ll have to see how it works with stew. Needed something lighter than my heavy cast iron as I’m losing strength as I age.

I thought I ruined my original stockpot with burnt apples. After scrubbing on/off for several days - I just ordered a new one out of frustration. Then my husband took over. With his extra muscle we managed to clean the burnt pot in less than 2 days and it now looks brand new. I was pleasantly surprised and now I have two pots for making stock, soups/chili and canning this year. For me it was a win/win and I'm definitely glad I didn't just throw it out.
