After researching cookware I found that Cuisinart is the best cookware for me. It can be used as bakeware as well and it is easy to clean. From my experience Cuisinart stands behind it's products. My first Cuisinart product was a DLC7 I bought in 1983.

This is a great stock pot. The first thing I made was a roast pork with veggies. I browned the pork on top of the stove, filled it with carrots, celery, potatoes, some chicken stock and water. From the stove top, I put it in the oven, and 4 hours later I had a great roast pork dinner. Nothing stuck to it and it cleaned up great. I will be slowly replacing my cookware with stainless.
