I'm very pleased with the results of how my food cooks. However, I am disappointed with the discoloration at the bottom of the pan after it's washed. It looks as if there is a film remaining. I do not use any abrasive cleaning porducts, just soap & water as durected.

I have the glass top for this; a previous one. I perched this top intuitively a quarter or a half, - goodness it stays there - The pan is going to do exactly what you think, it conducts heat, and it has nothing to do with cuisine. Ready sooner than the 4 cup pan, which will time your meat to the lowest heat possible.
I may have used an ekectric stove once, in a cabin on holiday, so one would have to gage as a matter of course, to do so not on a gas flame but electric. Which I don't think is for any cooking know how; uneven; no such thing as "2,4,5,6,7,8,High heat, too literal, presupposes one need not know about cooked food.
Very heartened by good cuisinart : ) and has nothing to do with cuisine nor art.

The pot is well made but the handle is too long and heavy. It tips over when using on a gas stove with grates. Maybe it would be better on an electric stove.

It's my favorite and special little pan. It not only cooks or heats up food well, it's beautiful too. I was afraid that it would be hard to keep it so shiny. No it isn't. I'm trying to not use the microwave for health reasons and this little pan is perfect.

Loving it ! It's a just right size for so many things. I really like that I can measure liquid without messing up another cup because the measurements are there on the inside of the pot. I am very happy and I am looking at a new 2 qt pot ( even though I don't need it, LOL )
