The Product has alot going for it

The product is great with alot of great features. the ease of water filter change and the front panel telling you when it needs changed. the freezer has alot of space. I Like evrery thing about the side by side but the stainless surface is hard to keep clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

temperature control "creates a vacuum"

The first unit had to be replaced because of problems. The second one looks good but the unit has had to have the temperature control replaced and the door had to be replaced...in the first two months. The unit still appears to have a temperature control problem which occasionally results in jelly being frozen in the upper refrigerator part. Not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge! Very happy with it overall. The outside of it looks great when clean but keeping it finger print clean is impossible. I think I would have gone with a different outside finish had I known. We don't have kids but it still gets dirty quickly.

Issues:- the ice maker is extremely loud when refilling/dumping- seems like the freezer & frig temp controls should be adjusted to .5 degrees, whenever we turn it up/down a temp degree, it is either to cold or not cold enough. needs to be an in between.- when using the water/ice dispenser, it never shuts off as soon as you pull the cup away & disengage the mechanism, causing water/ice always on the floor.- the freezer door needs to be firmly shut every time & double-checked, EVERY TIMEGood:- the display

great refrigerator went from a 21 cu foot to this monster. Fit perfect low noise compare to the old one. Makes lots of ice and love the ice maker in the door so much more room

I have had this product for about 9 months and I love it. There is one downside and that is the door shelves are glass or very breakable plastic. I love the depth of the shelves, door shelves, freezer shelves - everything. Definitely worth the money. I would buy again, love whirlpool products. stainless steel is always hard to keep clean, but they sell cleaners for that!p.s. bought the matching stove too!

Just purchased a new home two months ago and we have this appliance in our home. Love the look. I love that the water maker is a little lower so the kids can reach it to fill up their cups and aren't reaching on their tippy toes. Only issue I had was to turn the temp of the fridge up to 40 degrees because some of the items in the fridge were getting frozen. Other than that, it works great and very easy to figure out the panel. Love it!
