This product is far superior to my old refrigertor.

This turned out to be an excellent purchase. We bought the white model as the stainless steel model tends to show any figure prints. The In Door ice maker is far superior to the old style ice makers and also gives you a lot more freezer space. The refrigerator section has a lot more space, also. The water filter is a lot easier to replace and the air filter is a plus. Do not have to take up space with boxes of soda. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our new refrigerator..

Not Happy Yet

I bought this unit 9 months ago and I have had two mother boards go out. Fortunately the Frig stays cool but nothing else works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall this refrigerator is excellent

There are several features that we just love about this refrigerator. The freezer size is larger because the ice maker is in the door. We are able to get a lot of large items in this freezer. The LED lighting is very good. There are filters for water & odors. The ice box is very big and we love the shelves, which glass shelves go all the way to edge for more room. The temperature is very cold at some levels. The noise level is about normal when compressor comes on. The coils are in the base of the unit and you do not have to vacuum them, as in past refrigerators. Overall, we love this refrigerator.

Just what I was looking for

I have had trouble with other brands of side-by-side refrig/freezers where they do not keep frozen items frozen and getting frost and ice in my frost-free freezer! I spent a lot of time looking for a replacement and so far I am thrilled with this Whirlpool's performance. The Ice in the Door is innovative and saves a lot of room in the freezer. I have had the unit for 3 months and it works great. Some minor noises occasionally but overall I'm pleased with my purchase. Hope it continues this way!

Product could use improvements

Top shelve of refrigerator does not fit 2 liter soda bottles. I have to put them in a door shelf so i do not compromise the other shelves of the fridge. I personally think the drawer in the middle of the fridge is not needed. The two at the bottom are enough. Takes away storage space. Ice maker is noisy and does not make as much ice as my 12 year old GE side by side did. We have to buy ice and keep a bag in the freezer.

This is a great refrigerator!

My husband and I decided to replace our kitchen appliances recently. After reading many online reviews, we decided on this model. My last refrigerator had filtered water; however, it doesn't compare to the water quality from this refrigerator. I drink a lot more water now than ever before.The LED lights are awesome! You can see everything in the refrigerator and freezer easily.I really like how you can change how you arrange the drawers and shelves.The refrigerator seems to run a little louder than my last refrigerator; however, it runs MUCH less often. The only other thing I sometimes have trouble changing from water to ice or crushed ice. I think I just haven't found the magic spot on the display.
