Easy and Painless

The step by step process was easy and painless to follow. I felt like all the possible deductions were covered, and I am confident I got the most back we could. Although the cost is not a lot less than what we paid the last time we went to a paid preparer, it is certainly more convenient, no appointments are needed, and I wonder sometimes how qualified some tax preparers really are. I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 4 years, and have no plans to quit.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step.
What's not so great: Cost not a lot less than paid preparer.

I have been using TT for several years and like how easy it is to use, save data, bring prior year data forward. You have the option to go through detailed questions for everything or focus on specific topics. Some changes made from year to year I do not fully understand, for example a little more difficult to get to miscellaneous forms it seems this year.
Price has been creeping up a little the past few years, willing to pay a little more to stick with a reliable package that is user friendly.
I would recommend the package for people that know little about taxes as well as folks more knowledgeable.
What's great about it: I have been using TT for several years and really like how it is easy to bring prior year data forward from year to year
What's not so great: Not as easy to access misc. forms this year. Might be just me

Easy product to use

Turbo tax gets better each year. I like how it uploads the previous years info instead of making you start from scratch each time you do your taxes.
The only thing that irritates me is that one state form is not automatically included in the price. It would make much more sense to just give you one for the purchase price instead of having to buy extras to finish your returns. I don't mind the pricing - its just annoying to have to pull out a credit card right after you start the program.

Familiar and easy

I found a mistake in the program that I wanted to ask. No answers in the forum. I didn't want to create a user account to ask a question. The 1099-DIV dollars displayed in the interview did not match the one on the tax form or the one displayed on the link associated with the number on the interview page.
What's great about it: Easy answer questions are great.
What's not so great: I don't like creating a user account to ask questions. Would prefer a live chat

FRIENDS AND FAMILY SAID I COULD DO IT AND I DID. VERY PLEASED WITH RESULTS. COST MUCH LESS THAN MY ACCOUNTANT LAST YEAR.
What's great about it: I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY AN ACCOUNTANT. IT REALLY WAS EASY
