I have used Turbo Tax for the past 10 or 12 years. It gets better every year
What's great about it: Simple, Organized and very helpfull. Loved the donation segment

I have been using this program for over 10 years and continue to use it every year. makes returns simple and efficient. If there are even the smallest of errors, it catches it. I have twice now had a federal return rejected do to improper data entry on social security numbers. very easy to fix and resubmit through turbotax.
What's great about it: very quick and simple! walks you through every section step by step.
What's not so great: slow software

CPA Over My Shoulder

As a long-time TurboTax user, I knew how easy the program would make filing my taxes again this year. But, I continue to be amazed that, as complex as tax laws are, Turbo Tax makes accounting appear simple. It saves time and keeps my hair where it needs to be...on my head. Thanks again. Be back next year.
What's great about it: In the simplest way, my financial year was laid out in front of me in a way I could never be able to handle it myself.
What's not so great: It would be nice to have advise on how to avoid owing taxes in future years.

Turbo tax made it easy!

I am a busy mom and I work. Turbo tax made it easy for me to file my taxes and get back my maximum return. Which as any mom knows it is a blessing to accomplish such a task easily and get much needed money back! Thanks turbo tax

HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. ALWAYS GET MAXIMUM REFUNDS AND EFILING IS EASY. I RECOMEND TURBOTAX TO EVERYONE READING THIS REVIEW. LOVE IT.

So Easy to Use

This year our daughter started college and we were able to claim education expenses for the first time. Turbo Tax walked me through each step of this deduction. Turbo Tax is so easy to use!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you step by step through your paperwork.
What's not so great: Did not find any cons.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use

If your taxes are simple, and you use the "walk through" helper, you have to go through a lot of not applicable screens. That's a small price to pay, however, for ease of use. Sure beats the old fashioned pencil, paper and calculator!
What's great about it: Piece of cake for anyone who is not a tax expert
What's not so great: No major ones
