Taxes made simple

Overall, I am very happy with the Turbotax product. I have used Turbotax for many years and I know that I can always depend on Turbotax to be up-to-date and accurate. It is very user friendly and makes the process of filing taxes very easy.
What's great about it: Easy to follow guidelines that cover everything.
What's not so great: Wish that you could file state returns for free also.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Even with no refund...

Although I didn't get a refund the ease of use and peace of mind that return is filed. Last year took to a tax acountant and the lady filed an extension without my knowledge and then I had to fight with her to get my information back to file AND had to pay a penalty. I learned my lessons better to do things yourself than trust someone else!!!
What's great about it: Ease of use as Turbotax walks you through the forms

The Best Way to File Taxes

Its a great program to work with, easy, intuitive. Makes filling taxes easy and with the Audit Defense gives peace of mind.
Would recommend to anyone. Why pay the Tax professionals when this does the job and is applicable to majority of folks who file.
What's great about it: Its easy, accurate and guides through the process
What's not so great: Some of the tax topics would like more detail, and possibly examples. The IRS regs give examples that help determine.

Easy Tax Preparation

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past five years or so, and have had very good results with the IRS accepting my returns without problems. My tax situation is pretty straight forward, but Turbo Tax really helps me be organized in the preparation process, and explains some of the tax code rules that are sometimes unintelligible. Being able to file electronically for both federal and state is an added bonus. Great product!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow instructions and explanations of tax code.
What's not so great: Having to pay for a second state return before I could determine if I needed to file for that state.

TURBO TAX DELUZE 2012

DECIDED TO ENTER MY DATA MANUALLY THIS YEAR INSTEAD OF TRANSFERRING PREVIOUS YEARS INFO. BOTH STATE AND FED COMPLETED AND FILED IN 30 MINUTES LESS THAN LAST YEAR.
What's great about it: FASTER THAN LAST YEAR

This program makes doing taxes so easy. It walks you through everyting. It even reminds you about possible deductions you could forget about or not even know exists.
What's great about it: Walked me through everything. It doesn't get any easier than this.
