I have used TurboTax for the past 4 years. I have found it to be very user-friendly and they always make little changes to make it easier every year.

It was super easy to go back to things and edit.
What's great about it: Step by step, easy to follow
What's not so great: price, only to put something here
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

the only problem i had with preparing and doing our taxes this year was that the IRS doesn't accept returns til 1/30.

Easy to use.

I had a line on my SSA-1099 that was not asked for in Turbo Tax. It was for Non-taxable payments that appeared on the SSA-1099, but there was no field to enter it in the section of deductions for this form. Medicare premiums for Parts A, B, and C were there, but not the line for Non-taxable payments.
What's great about it: Most logical of all the tax software available to the general public.
What's not so great: One spot missing.

Not quite as happy

Have always been extremely happy with turbo tax product. Found some things a little more difficult this year. Some downloads failed, and had to be manually done and downloaded to turbo tax, and the turbo tax refund card from previous years I wasn't able to access on the e-file.
What's great about it: still an excellent product overall, with a few problems this year
What's not so great: Some downloads didn't work easily, and could not find the card to download the money on the e-file
