I will look for other tax prep software next year. My experience this year was very frustrating.

Easy To Use

I was going to use Turbo Tax through my bank's website. The price was right. However, even though I logged in with my Turbo Tax account none of my information transferred from prior years. I ended up installing the CD that came in the mail and I was glad I did. All of my information was saved and I was able to complete my return faster by not having to type information into the forms. I got an email that said I would get the lowest prices for the product, but I think I paid the same as I did before. However, everything went smoothly and I did not have any problems completing my return. Even when I had to add a particular form for a capital gians loss from an inheritance. I would recomment Turbo Tax to anyone. It's easy to use and by following the steps my return was done quickly and without headaches.
What's great about it: Love how you are taken step by step through the process, assures you don't forget anything.
What's not so great: was told I get lower price for product and actually paid the same.

TurboTax - Taxes Made Easy

Easiest program that I have ever used. The key is to document your activity before hand and be prepared to enter the data step by step.
Love TurboTax, even when I have to pay a lot of taxes, not having the hassle of fretting over the process makes the pain less.
What's great about it: speed, simplicity, easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: didn't get my automatic copy in the mail this year, probably due to my credit card be compromised and closed.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It is easy to use and very convenient for when I am ready to do my taxes.No appointments necessary. It gets review which is a great benefit. I like that I can check the status of my return so I know if it's been accepted. It is an awesome tax program!
