I have used TurboTax for over a decade now. My returns have become more complicated as kids have grown up and gone off to school then gotten married. Our own situation with investments and retirement funds has also changed and become more complex. TT has been able to handle it all.
What's great about it: Logically laid out
What's not so great: Fine print is getting a lot harder to see and read.

overall, having used Turbo Tax for years it remains my best, easiest option.
What's great about it: Transfer from Banks, Investment Firms and Quicken
What's not so great: Use of car in business, need to update, and finding updates even after submitting e-file. Very disturbing??

Easy and Accurate

I've been using TurboTax for years. The transferring of previous years' data and its ease of use make doing my own taxes easy, even as my returns have gotten more complicated. The program has gotten even better over the years and is very accurate.
What's great about it: TurboTax makes doing your own taxes a breeze
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent Product

I have used Turbotax for many years and like the ability for yearly carry over. The ability to have both guided or specific additions for income and deductions is great as not everything comes at the same time allowing tax preparation to be a "work in Progress" until everything is received. I am overall very satified with the product.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and the ablity to download all financial transactions makes preparing taxes much easier
What's not so great: Had to wait to get Minnesota taxes filed, because of Turbotax issues. Was not happy at the high cost of a second state.

What a Great program!

My tax filing was not that complicated in the past. But I had a professional do them. Now I take my time and do them myself. Also, updating last year's info is a great help.
What's great about it: Couldn't have done my taxes without the program.
What's not so great: Sometimes I have trouble going from one screen to another.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Over Ten Years of Success with TT!

I have been using TT Deluxe for over 10 years and have had nothing but good luck with it. My returned are moderately complex with quite a few itemizations. I love the guide and the comprehensive list of questions it asks. I'm not sure how it would do with more complicated returns. My main complaint is how non-intuitive it is to get back to your place in the guide after going back to revisit or correct a completed section. I have noticed this for several years and thought they might have clarified that by now. I also wish they would include the price of state e-filing considering it is ultimately cheaper for the IRS to process an e-file!
What's great about it: Comprehensive; Great Guidance
What's not so great: Not easy to pick place back up after going back...
