Easy, quick and convenient

I don't remember how many years I've now used Turbo Tax, but it has been a great program to use. It is way less expensive than going to any tax preparer and having the ability to contact tax perparers if I have questions makes it a great buy.
What's great about it: Walks you though every area possible

Don't believe my State refund is correct

I don't believe my State income tax information. I've checked it 3 times and I'm still getting a huge refund even though I've always had to pay something. I will get paper forms and do it manually because I think it's wrong.

FAST AND EASY

Have been using TurboTax for many years now. Every new tax year TurboTax gets faster and easier. Most up to date on the tax changes and NO SOFTWARE BUGS that create problems with e-filing.
What's great about it: INCLUDES RITA FORMS FOR FILING
What's not so great: PITCHES FOR TURBOTAX ADD ONS DURING ENTRIES - MOVE THEM TO THE REVIEW SECTION
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Smooth and Calm times

10 years and most years it is very easy
to use. 2012 was a difficult filing but
the 2013 was why I continue to come
back to Turbo Tax each year.

Not worth it

I have used Turbo Tax before and it seemed to do the trick for me. Last year I had my taxes prepared by a professional. All I had to do was take all of my info in and answer a few questions. This year, in all of my infinite wisdom, I decided to save a hundred bucks and use Turbo Tax again. There are a few deductions that I got last year that I have no idea where to enter this year. I have searched the help pages and still have no clue. Also some of the calculations it told me to do it wouldn't accept once I entered them. All it would say is that that number was too large. Now I am pretty clueless as to most things involving taxes but I just think that this is rediculously complicated and will NEVER do my own taxes again, I would gladly pay that extra hundred dollars to not have the stress and aggravation that I did while trying to not let the government cheat me out of any more money than they already have... Sorry Turbo Tax, I'm sure you have a great program here but it is definately NOT for me.
What's great about it: cheap
What's not so great: Too vague and complicated in some areas
