Turbo Tax is Awesome!

We have a home office.
In the notes for Deductible Utilities for Entire home it says:
Note: Its not necessary to enter communications expenses here such as phone lines, cell phone, fax lines, etc. We ask for that information in the General Expenses section of your return which is coming up.
In the notes for Deductible Utilities for Entire home it says:

And those items are not listed under Deductible Utilities for Home Office Only (which they are)
I never saw General Expenses come up so I put those under Deductible Utilities for Home Office Only
It was a little confusing.
But Turbo Tax is GREAT!
What's great about it: Easy to use and transfer of basic info

Turbo Tax always is up to date and goes through every detail to help us get the fastest, quickest return possible!
What's great about it: Clear instructions, no errors!
What's not so great: No problems at all!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It is a great way to be walked through what is needed to complete your taxes. I would have appreciated more information on college research costs, what is an allowable deduction and what is not

Good At Home Product

Turbo Tax is overall a good product for at home taxes. If you are a first time do-it-yourself tax filer using the itemized forms though, it can be a little confusing. After filing them myself for over 20 years, I can manage to figure it out though.
What's great about it: Makes at home taxes easier
What's not so great: Not as intuitive or easy to navigate as earlier versions
