I hate filing taxes, it's tedious. BUT turbo tax saves all your information from previous years and transfers it to the current year. Saves a ton of time and trouble. They also explain things well and have super helpful suggestions.

I had several problems when using the business version. I was assisted by telephone and the agent was extremely helpful.
What's great about it: walk thru of all items
What's not so great: Updates can chnge after filing

Great Solid Product - Consistent year after year

The only thing I didnt like is that you've to scroll to bottom of screen to navigate to next section, the same button should appear at the top of the screen as well.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate
What's not so great: skip to next section is cumbersome

It's hard to make a mistake or miss a deduction if you have Turbo Tax walk you thru the various topics.
What's great about it: I like how walks me through completion of my tax return
What's not so great: I was to get one free state return with my version, but I didn't receive any

Using this product for the first time was overall pretty easy. It explains everything you need to know and I will definitely be using this program in the future to do my returns.

when one has a long list of charitable donations it would help if we could put them in alpha order so we did not have to keep scrolling to the end of the list. This is very useful when one donates to the same charity year after year.
No great confidence is gained when updates to the software contain poor grammar or poor sentence structure. Example from March software update on AMT. "The exemption amounts for 2012 they are $50,600 for individual taxpayers..." "they" is not needed in the sentence. There were several other oddly phrased sentences that made me wonder if the updates were rushed or just not edited - either way it drops my confidence level when the subject is already complicated enough without inserting grammatical errors.
What's great about it: walks you through the whole process in a straightforward manner
What's not so great: will not alphabetize charitable donations

Makes Doing Taxes Almost Fun

I am loyal to this product because it has served me very well for many years. The one year when I found an error gave me some pause but it was fixed, and I have since regained complete confidence in the software.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, useful additional info
What's not so great: Only once in all the years I've used did I find an error (miscalc of a local tax)
