Can't multitask

So easy!

I usually do my taxes myself and do them by hand. I've always hated taxes. This year I decided to try Turbo Tax and I couldn't be happier with how much easier it was to do my taxes this year. No more figuring out which forms I need, printing them off, figuring out how to use them and attach them... I will definitely be using Turbo Tax again next year.
What's great about it: Step by step, easy to do!
What's not so great: Taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

OCONUS filer

I'm an OCONUS filer on orders for the US Navy. I love the ease of Turbotax and the simplistic way it walks you through filing. I could use some better explanations on the inputs; especially on whether I am considered a state resident or not when I move in the middle of the year to an overseas location. It is a great product but it really, really needs to get with military account agencies to understand PSC, COLA, OHA, and LQA finances. Then it can clearly walk a miltary/governement worker through the filing process accurately.
In a nutshell, it is a great product and I highly recommend it! (Used it for almost 10 years straight. Tried the competitor and immediately switched back.)
What's great about it: Ease of use and thoroughness
What's not so great: State residency requirement explanations are less than elaborate

I do feel that turbo tax gives you the maximum refund as they advertise.
What's great about it: Maximum refund, simple to understand
What's not so great: Can be a little confusing with respect to only one state offered

No Tax Too Tough

Everything was good until the efile payment portion. The program excepted the online payment info, then returned to the same screen making it appear like it needed the info a second time. This was confusing.
What's great about it: Very intuitive.
What's not so great: Software glitch.

A good program. Frankly the cost to do state filing may just make me find another way. Not worth the extra cost.

What's not so great: Paying for state e-file - rank profiteering.
