Does the Job

Using the software each year means that some entry time is saved and past year items are there to remind you. The entry of charitable donations is tedious if you have irregular donations or many charitable organizations. Some charities we donate to every year, but a few we may miss a year. Turbo Tax eliminates these and the address information has to be re-entered. In general the software works well. I have never had any problems with the electronic filing.
What's not so great: Charitable donation entry is slow

Easy for simple filings

With the exception of some of the expenses used for a business, it was very simple. Some stuff for the business expenses was difficult to understand and determine what software was asking for. Opted to not take expenses rather than go through the pain of figuring it out.
What's great about it: Easy to follow for basic refund
What's not so great: Difficult to follow or answer some quesions for business expenses.

Rather than SHOWING THE STANDARD DEDUCTION, turbo tax say lets find deduction...a complete waste of time for me

Money back...again!

My taxes were a snap from the moment TurboTax imported my last years' information all the way to the end. I have used TurboTax since 2000 and it only gets easier to use. I feel confident with every deduction I claim and I know I have every penny possible coming back to me.
What's great about it: Easy and detailed
What's not so great: it keeps asking me to file a state return when Texas has no state income tax and the software knows that.

Very nice tool to file taxes online

I found Turbo Tax very easy to use for filing taxes. I am not a tax professional nor am I very good with numbers so for me Turbo Tax is very helpful. The only issue I had was that the fixing errors screen was a bit complex and not very user intutive or user friendly. Apart from that, rest all seemd to flow by smoothly. I will use Turbo Tax next year too.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions & tips
What's not so great: Editing on error checking is a bit confusing

Almost too easy!

Once again, TurboTax not only got me though my anual tax nightmare, but made dealing being a new widower so seamless and easy filing jointly without my late wife being present. The software even said it was sorry for my loss, brought a few tears!
What's great about it: Refined, easy, covers all levels
What's not so great: Cost money, but worth it
