It's a family affair!

I have used TurboTax for ....well let's just say more than 10 years. I find it to be user friendly and easy enough that my entire family uses this product. My son who claims not be bookkeeping savvy has done his own taxes the last two years. Tax season with TurboTax has truly become a family affair at our house!

Show me the money!

I have used Turbo Tax to file our taxes for several years now and I have found the 2012 version to be the easiest and most user friendly to date. Unlike previous years it lets you answer general questions in easy guide mode without taking you though each and every tax situtation under the sun. It seems to be more intuitive this year. Great work Turbo Tax!

No transfers

Previous filing information from prior year would not transfer. My name did not get on the turbotax "select file" button. I could not see the entry areas frequently. Poor quality this year.

Great for a most people

I'm retired but work during the tax season for a tax professional. I still do my own taxes on TurboTax for continuity and convenience. This software can be used by most people for most circumstances although I still would not hesitate to suggest people who have more complicated returns, small businesses, rental property to seek the advice of a professional. Especially if they are just starting a small business or rental. But overall, I am still very satisfied with the software and will continue using for years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to use, don't have to know much about taxes
What's not so great: Hard to play "what if" scenarios. MFJ vs MFS? Keep or drop dependents?
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Glad I Tried Turbo Tax!

This was the first time I tried Turbo Tax. I wish I would have tried it with previous tax returns that I filed. Detailed information is provided as you go along. This is great because it eliminates the chance for errors. I will definitely be using Turbo Tax when I file my taxes next year.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is so easy to use. Each section has instructions on how to fill in information.
What's not so great: None!

Continued Success

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 15 years to file my taxes. It sure saves a lot of time and I have never had an issue with the results. I like the fact you can be imported information from financial institutions and prior years tax filing results.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: The cost to efile State Tax
