Make it easy!

I have used both the Deluxe and the Premier editions of Turbo Tax. I have never run across a condition where the help isn't provided for the user. I have no need to try other tax software because Turbo Tax has served me well for over ten years running. The only inconvenience is when the user has to scroll down to the bottom of the page being worked on to go to the next step (page# or go back #to the last page).
Try it - you'll like it.
What's great about it: Thorough in step-by-step approach
What's not so great: Inconvenient positioning of the BACK mouse tab

Easy filing

Very easy to use, can switch from forms to lead through easily. Can do "What ifs" to see the tax implications of changes you may make, for example how much to withdraw from an IRA.
What's great about it: Easy to use, have used for many years
What's not so great: Sometime it waits until the last minute to tell you you need an update.

It did what it should

I've used TT for many years, and will continue to do so in the future. I just have to convince my wife she can do it, and then relax.
What's great about it: Some deductions took some digging but they were there
What's not so great: A moment of panic when blank pages were printed...then I replaced my ink cartridge. All was well.

I liked the fact that you could stop and then resume working on the return later. You don' t have to do the entire return in one setting. The amount of detail can be adjusted depenind on the level of interest or skill.
There was some questions at the end of the process about how to file electronically and then pay by mailing a check. The directions didn't tell me there where the payment voucher would be available for printing.

What's great about it: Step by step directions, you can stop and resume at any time
What's not so great: the last step doesn't tell you to print the the payment voucher, I could have missed this.

Quick and easy

I have been utilizing Turbo Tax for many years. This years version was the easiest to use and it was also helpful with information assistance.
The few quirks from past versions have been corrected.
Turbo Tax is worth it's cost as compared to manually filling out the tax forms. It also virtually eliminates any errors.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and also helpful information.

good product for self tax prep

would be nice if there was a faster way to fill out the forms in an interview mode with ability to go to forms mode. I thought this process was slow no matter what shortcut you tried
What's great about it: good for everyone to use
What's not so great: A bit slow could be a bit faster and easier to get aroud
