Always Easy to Use

My husband and I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. Even though doing one's taxes is not fun at all, even if you get a refund, Turbo Tax takes a lot of the stress out of it. It has always been easy to use and the help features are great when I get stuck on a topic. I like that it has the audit risk meter. I can't speak about the talk to a live person feature since we've never used it before. I'll continue to do our taxes with Turbo Tax. Thank you for making things easy!
What's great about it: Very easy and as painless as possible when doing your taxes
What's not so great: I hate when we owe but that's not Turbo Tax's fault

Excellant Flow and Help

For 10 years in a row I have used Turbo Tax and I haven't been audited for my tax returns once. I was a little worried this year by how much I would have to pay in taxes, but Turbo tax helped me figure things out. Turbo tax 2012 had an excellent work flow and I was done before you knew it.
What's great about it: Helps you with every deduction
What's not so great: Sometimes things don't roll over from the previous year

Offers to upgrade to Premiere unnecessary for my situation.
What's great about it: Walked me through details of rental property filing. Was able to do this with Deluxe version.
What's not so great: Do not feel Premiere is needed

What's great about it: fed good
What's not so great: state lost in no real direction
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

tax refund review

I think this is one of the costlier tax products, and last year the state forms were not correct and there was not way to manually correct them. Turbo Tax would not let me enter my disability income as disability, so I had to print the state forms and handwrite the return.
What's great about it: calculations are easy, instructions are user friendly
What's not so great: I would like to see worksheets and forms as they are being filled out
