Easy Peasy

This year was my first time having more than just a summer job and I was nervous about what that would mean for my taxes. Turbo tax made it really easy to get all my ducks in a row and kept me from stressing about doing my own taxes. The language was simple and the process was linear so I didn't have to jump from place to place. I didn't have to re-enter information for my return which was a really nice advantage.
Updates in laws were loaded automatically and my previous return was available to see whenever I wanted so I could see if I missed something.
Thanks turbotax!
What's great about it: Very easy and user friendly even for first time tax prepers!
What's not so great: A review of the documents I needed before hand would be nice. Maybe a reminder of what documents to save for next year.

Fast and easy

When program is checking for errors, I was not always sure what was needed. Problably is my lack of knowedge but would of helped to know more about what was needed and where I might find it.
What's great about it: Fast and easy, down load of investmnet documts to Turbo tax is great
What's not so great: Some explanation on investment entries is needed

Taxes

I don't understand why we had so much to pay the state and federal when they are supposed to take taxes from our checks through out the year. Then the state also has a penalty for me to pay because they didn't take enough taxes from my earnings.
What's great about it: Easy to do taxes
What's not so great: NO refund, had to pay.
