I like the fact that once you are set up in Turbo-tax, you don't have to keep repeating info.
Sometimes I run across something I need to go back to & it can be a little frustrating, but for the most part it is easy to use.

I really liked the step by step help. For a first time self-filer that was nice, but when filing deductions with two states it made it a little more extensive. The main issue I had was trying to file my 1099-Misc form from Americorp for my service hours I did where they gave me an award to be used only to repay education expenses. It kept prompting me to file a Schedule C form and wouldn't let up until I deleted the form my return, but it took me about an hour to figure out how to do that to do to get it to file it just a other income. I think next year when I won't have job expenses to file or a 1099-Misc it will be really quick and easy. Filing the job expenses was easy if you had all the information already figured out. I still had to gather some info because I didn't know what all it would ask for.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance
What's not so great: Paying to get a second state, Problems with 1099-Misc with Americorp Education Awards
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

This is the third year in a row that i have used turbo tax . it doesn't get any easier than this. I have never had a complaint or a worry since I have been using turbo tax . two thumbs up.
What's great about it: so easy, just follow the step by step directions

For doing this the first time, it was relatively easy, except at the end when I was informed I had an error. Where? But I quit the program, relaxed and returned later to review and everything went thru just fine.

Walks you thru every area of filing, especially helpful when you are itemizing. Didn't like that it keeps asking if I want to upgrade to a fancier edition.
What's great about it: Liked the import feature of last year's return, liked the step by step
What's not so great: Didn't like the constant asking of upgrading, didn't like having to find addresses for charities while I was submitting

I had a problem e-filing my state return, I called customer Service and they quickly and efficiently resolved my problem.
What's great about it: Quick resolution to problems through Customer Service
What's not so great: no longer have 1 free e-file

TurboTax was able to help me prepare my taxes and ready to send it even though the FEDs or STATE was not ready to receive.
What's great about it: One step ahead of FED and STATE!
