Fine experience until the very end

As a long time Turbo Tax user, I have been very happy with this method of tax preparation. When I've encountered difficulties, I've received help without cost, and the difficulties have been fixed by the next year.
This year, during my final review (a week after my previous final review, and after one last update), Turbo Tax added a zero to a column on my Maine form that triggered an error message. When the page came up for review, I could not delete the zero or type over it, and Turbo Tax would not submit my form until I did so. Finally, by trial and error, since I coud not find any instructions on how to change an entry on a form, I used Ctrl D and was able to overwrite the zero, leaving the column blank. Turbo Tax should give clear instructions on how to do so. The online forum showed that many customers got stuck in the same loop that I encountered, and they were more frustrated than I.

What's great about it: For the most part, the process is straightforward and user friendly.
What's not so great: No instructions on how to fix a last-minute error, which requires overwriting an entry on a form.

I have been using Turbotax for years now and absolutely love it! I save by doing it myself! I learn something each time I use it! And I can do it at my leisure!

This program is so simple to use. Regardless of the items you may need to deduct or education credits one can take, this program made it all so simple. It is fantastic!

What's great about it: Love the friendly langue..ie "OK, we know it taking more then a moment"
What's not so great: More youthful words needed, more folks of color needed. Way extra fees on State taxes to email, this need to STOP.
