near miss on a fed tax payment

Again TurboTax navigated me through the dreaded K-1 filing and in the very end when i thought i was going to pay a small federal tax TT showed me the way to a small return instead.
What's great about it: Connectivity to last years taxes
What's not so great: Could not get my current year on line effort to meld with last years taxes when i switched to a CD version.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Tax filimng made so easy

Have been using TurboTax since 2002. From simplest situation as Single person in apartment to the most complex situation to home owner, intestrests, ESPP, marriage, job changes, IRAs, Child, my journey with TurboTax was sit back relax, answer the questions and your job is done.
Amazing experience, no hassles to worry, easy to use, Automatic downloads of W2s, IRAs, other tax related documents and above all Itsdeductible rocks!
What's great about it: Covers every aspect
What's not so great: None that I can think of
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Bug or Glitch

Except for the above Con statement, Turbo Tax has been a blessing which got me through the maze of tax regulations, especially since we can no longer obtain written paper tax instructions.
What's great about it: Excellent guide through the maze of Tax forms
What's not so great: Does not recognize retired state employees tax exempt income.

QUICK and Easy

I use turbo tax every year to help me do my taxes and file them i would recommend turbo tax to anyone who files their on taxes
What's great about it: user friendly and easy to understand. program will guide you through the fileing of your taxes with ease

2012 Tax Review

Almost everything was covered easily in Turbo Tax. However some questions about HSAs and IRA Rollovers were difficult to understand.
What's great about it: Complete and accurate
What's not so great: Some questions I had were not clearly addressed

TurboTax, Quicken, and HRBlock

I have been using HRBlock software for a number of years. My biggest problem with it was the inability of the HRBlock software to import all data into the state tax for, Turbotax fortunately does this making filing state forms much easier. Turbotax also imported last years data from the Block software saving me more time. Even better, I started using Quicken this year. TurboTax imported charitable gifts as well as tax payments.
Turbotax is easy to use and imports more data than the Block software. I will use TurboTax next year.
What's great about it: Imports data from Quicken and Block tax software. Also ports federal tax data into the state form.
What's not so great: can't think of any
