All's well that ends well

I have used Turbo Tax for the past two years after having paid a tax consultant when I was self-employed. I have tried other products in the past and believe TT is the best solution for getting the biggest refund in the fastest time. I will use again next year because the record keeping and transfer of information is very smooth and I have confidence in the TT software. I would recommend this product to first time and experienced preparers. Problems I had with this year's preparation seemed to be from state updates. Lesson learned for me because I had two state filing I purchased MA and was able to download MA as many times as necessary to complete. I used my free state of SC and when I had form problems I could not download SC again because the free state with TT does not permit repeat downloads. Hopefully I will only have one state from now on.
What's great about it: Transfered last years information seamlessly, liked the interview technique to get the most refund, user friendly
What's not so great: I had problems with Form I-330 in the SC state return that TT community was unable to assist with

First time E-File

I really like Turbo Tax, however, I was very disapointed this year that it did not include Form 8606 for me and my spouse. This has been automatic in the past!
Also, I had to enter the insurance premiums from the 1099R manually, as it did not forward that to Schedule A.
That would have cost me $400 in tax refund.
Wish there was a way to contact Turbo Tax directly when we find something like this.

What's great about it: Easty to use/ Have been using for many years!
What's not so great: Did not forward form 8606 from last year... Also did not pick up on Mecical Ins Premiums from 1099 R

Have no issue with program functionality.
Wish it would not keep trying to give me a program I don't want or need (Quicken Basic) every year. Also It doesn't need to keep asking if I want to be part of the annual program when I already am and have been for several years.

Efficient and effective.

Year after year my experience with this product gets better and better. I'm looking forward to the changes and advances in the software next year. I would and do recommend this product to family members and friends.
What's great about it: Comprehensive review of all potential deductions and credits.
What's not so great: Unclear at the end how my state refund would be issued despite being charged for the e-file. I figured it after sending

Did not get to claim deduction

Kept submitting, kept getting kicked back, System just kept stating that Social Security Number and namd did not match on my youngest son,when in fact it did. To avoid hassle with two Federl Goverment Beauracts, I went ahead and dropped this deduction or exemption.
