Turbo Tax is Terrific!

Turbo Tax is a great way to learn about what's taxable and not. The developers do a good job of asking the right questions to get the applicable data from you to complete an accurate return. Since doing my own taxes with Turbo Tax for several years now, I do a better job of keeping records during the year which makes filing my taxes easier because I know where to go in my Quicken file to find data. I actually have fun doing my own taxes and feel confident that I've done them right. Turbo Tax's checks and balances keeps me on track. Recommend it highly.
What's great about it: Ease of entering data and comparisons to last year's data.
What's not so great: Not being able to flip-flop between form and step-by-step without having to start all over at the applicable step.

Another tax year done

We've been using Turbo Tax since it first came out. It's evolved tremendously over the years, mostly for the better, but occasionally with a few quirks. This year it seemed just about perfect. It's actually given us clues to increase our accuracy this year. And while I said making corrections can be awkward, it actually wasn't difficult to do once I understood where I needed to make the correction.
We signed up for Advantage this year, and I'm hoping to start using Quicken to make things even easier next year.
What's great about it: Versatility

Turbo Tax user review

I have just completed my 5th year using Turbo Tax and I feel very confident in the program. It is thorough and it truly makes the whole process easy to understand.
My only Con was that it transfers the docs into Adobe and I only had the Reader version so I couldn't print anything out. I did save everything though so if I do need to print it I would/could upgrade to the full Adobe and print everything I need.
What's great about it: Covers everything you need to know and explains the confusing parts very clearly
What's not so great: Forms convert to Adobe but I only had the Reader version so I couldn't print anything

maximized my refund!

I didn't know what to do when my return got rejected from the IRS. Turbo Tax show me my errors and guide me through it. I am glad that I use Turbo tax. Very satisfied!
What's great about it: guide easy steps
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax takes the concern out of tax preparation each year.
What's great about it: I love the step by step questions and the extra refund finder prompts
What's not so great: It is not always easy to find the correct FAQ
