This was the first time I had done my taxes since I had bought my house and had children because I thought it would be too hard. It was definitely very helpful and guided me right through the process. I am very glad I gave it a try and saved myself some money in having to pay someone else to do it.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, super directions to guide you step by step
What's not so great: My computer is slow, nothing against the product!

I like how Turbo Tax easily guides you through step by step. How everything is easily accessed to review. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 11 years and never had a complaint. Keep it up :-))))))))

Whew! I DON"T have to pay the IRS

We tried TT the first year it came on the market and haven't gone anywhere since. Your program gets better every year - always seems to find the stuff that gets us a refund - albeit a small one - while many of our friends are paying big bucks to CPA's and PAYING the IRS besides!
What's great about it: Love the step by step guide and the opportunity to get extra information on a topic without wading through the IRS site.
What's not so great: none that I have found in the years we have been utilizing Turbo Tax

What's not so great: clocked for a while when I was ready to efile. lost connection to turbotax aseveral times

Turbo tax is okay

Overall pretty good, but as mentioned above you need to created a feature that takes you right back to where you left off if a partially completed return is saved to disk.
What's great about it: makes calculating taxes easy
What's not so great: needs a feature to take you back to where you left off when saving a partially completed return.
