Turbotax Deluxe

I have used TT for years with no problems... but I had a lot of trouble this year with downloading my VA State Tax forms.... had to wait for 30 min Plus to get someone on the phone... she was able to help... but that took a lot of time too.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: State Forms Glich

Nice and Easy

Overall it was great, just didn't like that I thought I was getting a free state return (as shown on the box) with my purchase but still ended up paying for the state return.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: thought I was getting a free state return

Went Well!

Overall, I will use it again. Just need a quicker response for online help. It took me 2 hrs to find out that all I needed to do was to exit all the way out of Turbo Tax and reload it so I could do my State taxes. Other than that. It was a huge success.
What's great about it: First time filing on my own and it went very well. Didn't have any problems with the questions. Was very easy
What's not so great: It took forever for my State taxes to work. And it was a slow response.

Won't use TT next time

The questions are too vague and don't convey meaning clearly. And, I added something I wanted to remove in education but there is no way to go back and change it. the processing fee was a surprise, too. You should mention that on the monday tuesday box.
What's not so great: dumbed down till questions don't make sense

We have had an accountent do our taxes for 16yrs. He has been wonderful however when we moved to a new state 2yrs ago we hardly knew anyone. I had the hard task of finding someone when my daughter called me and stated that she had just finished her taxes with Turbo Tax and it was easy, accurate, fast & not at all intimidating. With reservations I tried it and to my delight everything I had heard about the service was true. I am hooked. I just finished my taxes for the second year with Turbo Tax.

Exceeded My Expectations!

My mom has been using TurboTax for years and helps dozens of people use the program as well. Last year was the first year I went through the sections by myself and everything seemed pretty easy. When you are in doubt what a question asks, you can click the info link and find out more. Sections were clearly labeled and informative and I enjoyed the easy of being able to file online. In addition, the most important piece was guiding me through exemptions because they provided me with the maximum refund possible (which I was ecstatic to see the result - double the federal refund I expected). A majority of my friends and family use this program!
What's great about it: The ease of going through each section along with the error check at the end

FOR YEARS I HAVE PAID RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO GET MY TAXES DONE AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I HAD THE COURAGE TO DO THEM MYSELF AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS AWSOME WISHED I HAD THE COURAGE BACK THAN TO DO IT ON MY OWN. TURBOTAX I GIVE YOU A A+++++++
