Great Product

I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years. It is a great product and I have never had any problems using their program. I will continue to recommend it to my family and friends.

Great Program

Overall, great software. It installs, loads and runs perfectly. I wish I could think of an improvement, but you guys have covered it all.
What's great about it: Haven't tried the "go it alone", but the "hand-holding" was great.
What's not so great: I can't find any.

Fast and easy.

TurboTax really is very easy to use. Just have your paperwork and you are good to go. If you have a question, there are lots of ways to get answers.
Really love receiving the program automatically. Taking care of ill husband and is difficult to get out. One less thing to have to worry about.

When I went to print, I couldn't tell how many pages I had left. Also, when I would start the program back up, it didn't take me to exactly the spot I had left before exiting the program. I wasn't as confident with your program this time.
What's great about it: Fast

Great products

I really like this product. I can't believe how easy is Turbo tax except that, I think, for improvement, Turbo Tax should incorporate the HUD_1 statement into the system. This would make easy for people that refinance their home.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand, Affordable
What's not so great: HUD_1 information missing

Turbo tax makes you relax

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for so many years I do not remember. It has been a lifesaver for us we cannot afford a place anymore or an accountant to do our taxes. This is so easy and it leads you to where you can get the best return or the lowest payment. I just love Turbo Tax deluxe.
I always get the audit protection to just in case I made mistake that the program did not catch it is a relief for me.

Great Tax Software

The interview method is executed very well.
I am not sure if the following will be further helpful.
For those who are interested, you can add additional on-demand screens showing the calculations and how one entry affects another calculated result using flow-charts or simple formulae. The IRS forms instruct the procedure in a non-intutive way (subtract line 6 from line 28 and enter here, ..). I think 50% of the users want to know the rules governing the taxation. They want to know the rules affecting their situation (and not the entire taxation law). So context-sensitive calculation procedure (applicable to their individual tax situation) can be provided as additional information.

TRIED AND TRUE

I had a problem getting my previous donations because I couldn't remember my password or the privacy question answer. So, I called Turbo Tax and they answered quickly and helped me solve my problem quickly. I like that if you have a question that you have the pull down menus you can click on. They are very thorough and clear. I like that they check for errors and will figure out if there might be any red flags. It gives me peace of mind knowing this and that I can have audit protection.
I wasn't getting a refund back this year and another tax company sent me a free DVD and I didn't like the software nor did I trust the accuracy. It also wasn't as easy and thorough as Turbo Tax. Even though I had to pay for Turbo Tax's software, it is well worth it. I've used Turbo Tax for years and will never use another again.
What's great about it: transfers information from previous year, gives you comparative prices for your item donations, checks for errors
What's not so great: have to pay to efile state
