Turbo Tax is easy to follow and allows you multiple times to check your work.
It also offers a step by step process through deductions - and I think anyone could make it work.

Software Bug

i imported dat from previous year and could not pass error check. The error was obviously false and I answered the sorrect questions at the onset. The software bug with me involved the 1099 documentation. In 2012 had no 1099 and it kept erorring on vehicle depreciation that I have not owne at all in 2011. If you us Torbo tax use it without impotorting tax info from previous year and you will be good

Easy as pie

We were at a loss when our tax profressional retired. We had no clue where to turn or who to trust. Her last piece of advice was to use Turbo Tax. I did not feel that a computer program would provide us the service or piece of mind that a person could. We took her advice and purchased the product and have not looked back since. It has been six years since that day. Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: TurboTax makes my tax life worth living!
What's not so great: ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOTHING

Blew my mind

I wasn't sure how all the new tax laws were going to be and thought I was going to be lost. However, TurboTax made it easy and I wasn't confused at all. I always use TurboTax and I've never had a problem.
What's great about it: Simplicity of new tax laws
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to file

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 6 tax seasons. The instructions are easy to follow. States can be a little tricky if in more than 1 state for a year - some of those instructions weren't clear. However, overall Turbo Tax is simple, and I feel confident my returns are filed properly.
What's great about it: Easy instructions that do not leave any info out
What's not so great: Extra state price is too high, and 1 state efile should be included

Better than a tax preparation service

I wish Turbo Tax had been created decades ago for public use, as I could have saved a lot of time and money over the years instead of using other tax preparation services. Completely satisfied without any complaints.
What's great about it: Affordable and Easy
What's not so great: Must use same computer as prior year

I have no patience or background when it comes to taxes, investments, finance, etc. TurboTax is so easy to use and I am totally satisfied with the results. Highly recommended!
